Nationwide Title Clearing (NTC) is a leading national service provider to the residential mortgage industry. NTC clients are the nation's top mortgage lenders, mortgage servicers and mortgage investors. NTC services include processing and submitting mortgage-related documents for recording in county recording jurisdictions across the country, typically for loans that have been paid in full. NTC also conducts land records research across the country to search and retrieve information and documents for its mortgage lending and servicing clients.
The majority of documents that NTC processes for mortgage servicers are lien release documents that remove (clear) paid in full mortgages from land records when borrowers pay off their mortgage, refinance or sell their home.
