RCS is a nonprofit with four distinct, yet interwoven programs working together to provide basic needs to people in Pinellas County. RCS Food Bank, the largest distributor of food to those in need in Pinellas County, serves over 5,500 people monthly at our warehouse and an average of 13,200 people each month at sub-sites around the county. RCS Grace House provides apartment style shelter to homeless families along with all of life's necessities, maximizing their chances to reach independence. In 2011 we served 617 family members, with 379 of them being children.
The Haven of RCS Domestic Violence Center empowers victims by offering emergency shelter, transitional living, legal advocacy, individual & group support, preventative education and more. We served over18,600 people last year. RCS Thrift Store offers dignified shopping at no charge to participants in RCS programs and others in the community, while providing revenue to RCS through sales to the public.
